Mayhem Nightfury (Toothless)
Prior to the 2016 game announcement the Gearheads sent a delegation to FIRST HQ in Manchester to pitch a new Game Idea. That honor was the teams prize for winning the FEB 2015 FedEx Innovation Challenge. There they pitched the "Medievel Mayhem" a robotic castle siege game.

The game for 2016 was a closely guarded secret, until in the fall they released a brief teaser video, completely unprecedented. Many of the Gearheads found somewhat familiar. The final game was strikingly familiar to the pitch we made. FRC leadership insist that they had locked down the Medievel theme before we made our pitch, but certainly it does show how in tune the Gearheads were.
